Video: L.A. Teen Asks Kate Upton to Prom, She Says Maybe!
L.A. high school senior Jake Davidson just upped the game when it comes to asking the lady of his dreams to prom. He put together a YouTube video for supermodel Kate Upton he shared with her via Twitter asking her to be his date, and Upton seems to be considering accepting.

Davidson, 17, attendes Milken Community High School, a private Jewish school off Mulholland in Bel Air. He "enlisted family friend Talia Myers, a University of Southern California student, to shoot the video," according to the Today Show. In the video, Davidson calls the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Katie, and points out what the two have in common, and perhaps less in common:
"I'm Jewish, 5'9" on a really good day -- and I can't dance. At all," he jokes in the video. "You're Christian, 5'10", and that Cat Daddy video should have won an Oscar for best short film. You could say this is destiny.”
The brave teen posted the video (which includes a shower scene!) to Twitter and tagged @KateUpton, and the video was passed around mightily by others "by retweeting and using hashtags, such as #PromWithJake and #katenjakeprom," reports CBS2, adding that "the post went viral and finally reached 20-year-old Upton who responded on Twitter Tuesday."
“@JakeDavidson23:http://t.co/4PjGLDd6i9” you can call me Katie if you want! How could I turn down that video! I'll check my schedule ;)

“I absolutely love the video. It was so hilarious and so creative," said Upton on The Today Show.
No word yet if the May 23 date has made it on to Upton's calendar, but Davidson is reportedly making plans; he'll get Upton a "classy" wrist corsage.
