Rap legend Heavy D "weighed 344 pounds at the time of his death yesterday," TMZ is reporting. "Officials recorded Heavy's height and weight as part of their investigation into his sudden and unexpected passing," they explain. The 6'4" Heavy D, nee Dwight Arrington Myers, collapsed at his Beverly Hills home yesterday and was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival at the hospital.

So what killed the famous rapper and actor? "The L.A. County coroner's office said it probably will be six weeks before officials determine the cause of rapper Heavy D's death," notes L.A. Now.

No illegal drugs were found at Heavy D's home. The rapper had reportedly been out on a shopping trip and experienced breathing problems when he returned to his Maple Drive condo.

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine cause of death, and will take place over the next day or so. Toxicology tests have also been ordered, which will help the coroner see what was in his system at his time of death.
