Jason Collins' Twin Brother Got A New T-Shirt: 'I'm the Straight One'
Jarron Collins, twin brother of the first athlete in a major sport to come out as gay, got a new T-shirt to help the public keep things, uh, straight.
Collins went on Jimmy Kimmel with his famous brother Jason Collins, and told a story about how he ended up being mistaken for his brother while he was at a urinal. Kimmel gave him a T-shirt to wear for such an occasion: "I'm the Straight One."
The brothers talked about what it was like for Jason to come out to Jarron. Jarron explained: "He was very direct about it. He said, 'Jarron, I'm gay.' And I heard it, but I didn't quite register it. And I went about asking some of the dumbest questions you could possibly ask to someone who just told you that they're gay."
Jason added, "Yeah, like, 'Are you sure?'"
