'Harry Potter' Book Covers Redesigned As Minimalistic Animated GIFs
Illustrator and graphic designer Jeca Martinez has reimagined all the "Harry Potter" book covers as minimalistic animated GIFs, and they're awesome. Her project to refashion the series' covers started in August -- exactly seven days before September first (which is when the train leaves for Hogwarts each year). A "a die-hard Harry Potter fan," Martinez posted a new cover every day that week.
"...One night my mom and I drove to a nearby National Bookstore and got myself a paperback copy of the first book. I was so excited that I tried to read it in the dark on the drive back home," she writes on her blog.
