Spiffy: Unique LA is back with Day 2 of design magic and enough handmade goods to, well, fill an airport hangar. Over 250 designers and local artists. Snacks, freebies, DIY workshops and crafty goodness, giveaways, door prizes and more. Barker Hangar, Santa Monica Airport 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., $10

Spicy: The 18th Annual Oxnard Salsa Festival is here to spice up your weekend in Plaza Park. Prepare your body for everything salsa -- the food, the music, and the dance. The festival is open 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
