Dear reader, we're asking you to help us keep local news available for all. Your tax-deductible financial support keeps our stories free to read, instead of hidden behind paywalls. Eat: The 23rd Annual Taste of San Pedro at the Port of Los Angeles wraps up today with "over 30 restaurants, wineries, breweries, artists, merchants and live musicians at a magnificent seaside setting." Located on Harbor Blvd. Promenade between 1st St. and 6th St. in San Pedro. Noon - 7:00 p.m.

Cry: If traffic from the Teen Choice Awards (see below) has you feeling blue it's best to head south to the OC Fair for their Blues Show lineup. The Budweiser Clydesdales are there too. Those horses make everybody happy. Tickets $15 and include fair admission.

Fawn: Teen Choice 2011 is taking over Universal so this is as much a traffic warning as it is a calendar option and TV alert. City Walk and the Gibson Amphitheater are ground zero for screaming teens who've already registered 100 million votes for their favorite everythings and everyones. Brave it in person or watch it on FOX. Red carpet begins at 3:00 p.m. Show begins at 4:00 p.m.
