Made: Today at Los Angeles State Historic Park the 3rd Renegade Craft Fair doles out that handmade-feeling in conjunction with a Swap-o-Rama-Rama DIY workshop. The outdoor wonderland of handmade goods features over 200 artists. Clothing modification w/ sewing machines and screen printing stations from noon - 5:00 p.m. Event runs 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Built: A panel of acclaimed architects and critics will examine John Lautner’s work, "assessing its impact on the thinking and practice of architecture" for Stayin' Alive: The Legacy of John Lautner. The discussion will be followed by a "conversation on architectural preservation moderated by Nicholas Olsberg the archivist, cultural historian, and co-curator behind the Hammer's 2008 exhibition Between Earth and Heaven, the Architecture of John Lautner.
