ART: If you've wanted to check out the galleries in Culver City, tonight's the night that many of them are hosting openings from 6 to 8 pm tonight. Here's a helpful map of the arts district. There will be openings at NYE + Brown, Blum & Poe, thinkspace, George Billis Gallery, Western Project, Angles, blythe projects, Taylor De Cordoba, Roberts & Tilton, China Art Objects Gallery, Mark Moore Gallery, Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects, JK Gallery, Kopeikin Gallery, Honor Fraser, Maloney Fine Art, Walter Maciel Gallery, Cherry and Martin, Duncan Miller Gallery, Gallery 3209, Carter & Citizen and Katherine Cone Gallery.
MUSIC: This weekend is the 14th anniversary of the Smell, which is celebrating by putting on a show with Best Coast, Abe Vigoda, Dunes, So Many Wizards, Lucky Dragons and Ezra Buchla. Doors open at 8 pm, and for more information visit the event's Facebook page.
STREET ART: Tonight at the Merry Karnowsky Gallery the exhibition Vivian Maier: A Life Discovered will be opening. It will feature the work of the renowned street photographer. The opening begins at 8 pm and goes through 11 pm. For more information about the gallery and show, visit their website.
