Git Along Lil Doggies: Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival, featuring a roundup of Western gear, food, clothing, and living history exhibits, returns to Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio and other venues around Santa Clarita. "Saddle up and step back to a simpler time of chaps, saddles and old-time saloons. This year’s festival will include a mix of new attractions and returning favorites, including dutch oven peach cobbler, trick ropers, authentic gear and a show stopping musical talent lineup." Mayfair Market Knows How To Party: It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood if your neighborhood is Franklin Village. Today's Street Fair & UCB Bash is a FREE event featuring comedy, music, favorite local foods, games, gifts, art, auctions, and animal rescue. Proceeds go to benefit LAFD Station 82, Cheremoya Elementary and P.A.T.H. (people assisting the homeless). Noon-6:00 p.m.
Niños For Nemo: International Children's Day at the Aquarium celebrates "the amazing talents of children of all cultures." The festival features international music and dance performances by kids, an international choir, Mexican folkloric dance, Hawaiian hula, Cambodia traditional dance, Native American song and dance, and West African drum and dance. There's also arts and crafts, storytelling, interactive music performances, face-painting, and so forth. Festival activities are free with general admission and free for members (guests of members receive 20% off admission). Also this special.
