The Art Of Monsters: There's something hiding in your closet, under your bed, in the back seat of the car and probably calling from inside the house. You better get to a safe place. How about Monsterpalooza!! -- a stupendous collection of 200 vendors, special presentations, monster museum, model kit contests, lectures, panels, exhibits and a mutant army of artists in attendance. Wander (if you dare… mwahahah!) the floor, or check out Sunday events featuring the work from the Cinema Makeup School, Tremors, Cat People, Beetlejuice, Black Lagoon and Men in Suits. Be The Boy In The Bubble: Bubbles are so bitchin. Check out sixteen-time Guinness Book World Record Holder and "Bubble Scientist" Fan Yang and his son, Deni Yang at the Discovery Center. "World-renowned for unique and stunning artistry, the Mega Bubble Show features a bubble carousel, bubbles within bubbles, smoking bubbles, spinning bubbles, bouncing bubbles and bubbles in all shapes and sizes." Plus, hands-on bubble activities and "Me in a Bubble" photo ops. Mega Bubble Show tickets must be purchased in addition to general admission ($7 for non-members, $5 for members). Bike Bike Revolution: 7.5 miles of city streets are blocked off to cars and safely opened up to bicyclists and pedestrians for maximum city enjoyment during today's CicLAvia!! "Along the route there will be plenty to see and do, with planned activities and celebrations, great restaurants, historic sites, and shops and other venues welcoming walkers and riders."
