Get Out: 'Levitated Mass' Dedication, Leimert Park Artwalk & Self Help Graphics Fair

ROCK: In just a few hours, you'll be able to check out "Levitated Mass" over at LACMA. There will be a dedication ceremony at 11 am, but after that it will be open to the public anytime between 6 am and 10 pm.
ARTWALK: This afternoon Leimert Park is hosting its second annual artwalk from 2 pm until 8 pm. It will include artists, poets, an African drum circle, DJs, food trucks, vendors and live performances by Acelayone and others. The event is open to all ages. PRINT: If you want to acquire new prints created by artists at the legendary Self Help Graphics & Art this year, today is your day. The print shop is hosting a fair that will feature monoprints, etchings, woodblock prints, and linocuts. It will go from 12 pm until 5 pm at their location in Boyle Heights on 1300 East 1st Street. JAZZ: Tonight Todd Simon's Ethio-Cali Ensemble will be playing in the courtyard of the Craft and Folk Art Museum from 6 pm until 8 pm. The ensemble will pay homage to the golden era of Ethio-Jazz with some original compositions by Simon, who is a trumpeter well-versed in the Ethiopian Jazz tradition.
