Elon Musk Confirms Breakup With Amber Heard In Instagram Comment

Remember that time you Instagrammed a photo of yourself pretending to be Ariel from The Little Mermaid on Instagram, and your tech billionaire ex-boyfriend Elon Musk commented on it, and your legions of fans began asking whether you'd actually broken up, and your tech billionaire ex-boyfriend Elon Musk had to post a follow-up comment explaining that you had, indeed, broken up, but you planned to remain friends? It's a tale as old as time.
New York magazine has a rundown of the Instagram breakup saga that took place on Monday between actress Amber Heard and aforementioned tech billionare Elon Musk; in case you haven't been following this developing story, Heard posted an Ariel-style photo of herself combing her hair with a fork above the caption "Put a fork in it," prompting Musk to comment, “V cute❤️.”.
Naturally, Heard's throngs of followers demanded to know what, exactly, Musk meant by “V cute❤️.”, prompting the founder of Tesla and SpaceX to confirm rumors of the couple's split in a follow-up Instagram post: "“Btw, just to clear up some of the press storm this weekend, although Amber and I did break up, we are still friends, remain close and love one another. Long distance relationship when both partners have intense work obligations are always difficult, but who knows what the future holds.”
In a world where we may be on the brink of all-out nuclear war with North Korea, who knows what the future holds, indeed? Gather your loved ones close and love-bomb your way through your ex's Instagram feed, for the end may well be nigh.
RIP, Aelon/Ember, we hardly knew ye. Let's hope Elon drowns his breakup sorrows in work and brings us that Hyperloop ahead of schedule.
