Walt Disney's go-to composers, the Oscar-winning Robert and Richard Sherman, will be honored today at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The event is sold out (with a standby line), but take heart: we have 17 other things for you to do this week.

Of course, none of those other things will include swinging Parisian cats, London's enchanted chimneys or the bold interiors of 1960s California ranch life.
