Courtney Wagner, the 38-year-old daughter of actor Robert Wagner and the late Natalie Wood, was arrested recently in Malibu on suspicion of drug possession. The arrest took place following a noisy spat at Wagner's home that included gunfire.Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Lost Hills station were dispatched to the home on the 24400 block of Piuma Road on the evening of April 22, according to City News Service. Someone had heard a woman screaming, and a gunshot, notes TMZ.

Wagner was arrested on suspicion of drug possession (coke and heroin, specifies TMZ), while the man involved, 24-year-old Matthew Cox, was arrested on suspicion of a weapons violation. Wagner was booked at 7:37 p.m. according to the LASD inmate database, and released the following morning on $10,000 bail. Cox was booked on suspicion of discharging a firearm in a negligent manner, and also released on the 23rd, on $35,000 bail.

A handgun was recovered at the scene, but no one was injured.

Wagner's parents floated back into the international spotlight a few months ago as the 30th anniversary of Wood's drowning drew near, and new revelations from people associated with the actress' last days cast suspicions on the accident. Courtney was just 7 years old at the time of her mother's death.
