'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Star Jeff Garlin Arrested Over Violent Parking Space Confrontation [Updated]

Actor Jeff Garlin apparently had some trouble, well, curbing his anger while trying to find a parking spot Saturday afternoon.The "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star was arrested yesterday afternoon after getting into a fight over a parking space in Studio City, according to TMZ.
It started out as a verbal argument, but then—like a plot line of "Curb Your Enthusiasm"—the situation escalated.
It ended with Garlin allegedly smashing the car windows of the other person's Mercedes, and the cops getting called. He was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism.
Garlin was jailed, but TMZ reports that he had been released by this morning.
UPDATED, June 17, 5:20 pm.
Unbelievably, TMZ is reporting that Garlin will not face any charges in the incident. According to the site, will instead have to take a meeting with the L.A. City Attorney, who will lecture him about the incident as well as vandalism laws.
The L.A. City Attorney still has the option to file criminal charges later. Plus, the driver of the Mercedes is still free to go after Garlin for the damages in civil court, TMZ points out.
