George And Amal Clooney Welcome Twins, Visit From Former President Obama
Renowned international human rights lawyer Amal Clooney and her actor husband welcomed twins on Tuesday. George Clooney's publicist Stan Rosenfield told the Associated Press that Ella and Alexander Clooney were born Tuesday morning and are both "happy, healthy and doing fine."
"George is sedated and should recover in a few days," Rosenfield continued. According to Entertainment Tonight, the high-profile couple have been residing at their British country house in Sonning, England. It was there, in the village that English writer Jerome K. Jerome once described as "the most fairy-like little nook on the whole [Thames] river," that the couple welcomed former President Barack Obama for a visit two weeks ago.
“Obama arrived around 7:15 in the evening [local time] and left at around 11:30,” a source told People of the former president's May 27 visit.
