This anaconda don't want none.

A fire crew reported to The Forum in Inglewood on Friday afternoon after one of the backup dancers for rapper Nicki Minaj was bitten on the arm by a snake. The dancer later was privately taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

You won't surprised to learn the dancers were rehearsing a performance to Minaj's latest single, "Anaconda." The snake was not an anaconda, just like the song's title, but a six-foot boa constrictor named Rocky. Rocky is a 15-year reptilian veteran of show business, according to CBS 2.

This won't be the first time a snake has been used at a VMA performance, as Britney Spears famously wore a Burmese python named "Banana" during a 2001 performance of the racy "I'm A Slave 4 U":

The VMAs are scheduled to happen tomorrow night at The Forum. No word on whether or not the bitten dancer or Rocky will still perform tomorrow night.
