All My Friends Will Be At LCD Soundsystem's 5-Night Run At The Hollywood Palladium
It's been over seven years (!) since LCD Soundsystem released their last studio album (May 2010's This Is Happening, for the record) and over six years (!!) since their epic "final" show at Manhattan's Madison Square Garden, but the last few years have seen the slow reconstitution of James Murphy's seminal alt-electronica band (yeah, that's how we're defining it, deal with it). What began with a quiet late-December 2015 release of the song "Christmas Will Break Your Heart", ramped up with a headlining performance at Coachella 2016, and has now climaxed with the announcement of a forthcoming LP American Dreams. The singles "Call The Police" and "American Dreams" were both released in May (and subsequently performed on Saturday Night Live). And now there's even more good news for LCD's fans in the Southland: the band will be doing a five-night run at the Hollywood Palladium in November.
The Palladium will be the only Southern California stop on LCD Soundsystem's tour (the other California stop will be at San Francisco's Bill Graham Civic Auditorium), and tickets will go on sale Friday. Yes, expect all five-nights to sell out fast.
The Hollywood Palladium is located at 6215 Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. Beginning Friday, you can purchase tickets to November show here.
Now please enjoy one of the greatest songs of the 21st century:
