The Porn Handprints At The Original Hustler Are Moving To The New Store
The Porn Block Of Fame, which features the handprints of numerous adult film legends, is moving. The iconic Hustler Store of the Sunset Strip, as you've probably heard, is getting torn down. Gwyneth Paltrow bought the property and is eschewing the adult shop in order to build an L.A. outpost of London's Arts Club. That's a private club that costs a couple grand each year to be a member, and you're not even allowed to to engage in "drunkenness, bad language or other misconduct."
In front of the Hustler store, various adult legends have pressed their hands and feet into the cement. There's Ron Jeremy, Jenna Jameson, Belladonna and Behind the Green Door star Marilyn Chambers. Luckily, this piece of history will not be torn up and lost like tears in the rain. Rather, the block will be moved and relocated to the Hustler's new shop at 6540 Hollywood Blvd., which will host its grand opening on April 9, WeHoVille reports.
As Curbed LA notes, this porn block is only one of two in Los Angeles. The other can be found on Santa Monica Blvd. in front of West Hollywood adult theatre Studs, and features the prints of John C. Holmes and Georgina, among others.
