Comedy is king this weekend as the Adult Swim Festival and Will Ferrell's Best Night of Your Life bring the mirth. For lovers of festivals, there's a seafood fest, a mole fest, an inflatable run-fest, a Greek fest, an Oktoberfest and a medieval feast (close enough). Also happening: Amber Rose's Slut Walk, a Khan-Con and punk rock storytelling.

The network hosts its first major L.A. festival with a more than 24 hours of live entertainment headlined by Run the Jewels and Mastodon. Additional artists include Dorian Concept, Flying Lotus (in 3D), Georgia Anne Muldrow, Hannibal Buress and Thundercat. The grassroots SlutWalk movement was inspired by a Toronto police officer who told a crowd of college women that they could avoid sexual assault by not dressing like sluts. Turning anger into action, the movement has focused on gender equality, ending rape culture, victim blaming, slut shaming, body shaming and other social injustice issues. The festival includes a march (check in at 1st St. between Hill and Broadway), speakers, educational and health booths, DJs, food and drinks.
