Danny DeVito Cheated On Wife With An Extra He Promised To Make A Star, Source Says

Rumor has it that Danny DeVito's penchant for cheating on his wife Rhea Pearlman with extras led to the unraveling of the pair's marriage.A rep for the couple announced earlier this week that their 30-year marriage and 40-year relationship was coming to an end. They didn't give a reason at the time, but Radar Online reports that eventually Pearlman got fed up with DeVito's wandering eye.

An anonymous crew member told Radar Online that one incident in particular sticks out to him. The crew member remembers an affair that DeVito had way back in the 1990s with a beautiful blonde extra on the set of Hoffa: "It was kind of pathetic because she was very young and beautiful and obviously just having sex with him in hopes that he'd make her a star."

This source added: "It was sad to see her pretending to really like him when really it was just because of who he was. And worse, Danny preying on vulnerable young girls like that."

The funny thing is that if this scenario involved crack-smoking and perhaps a plan to scam the government, it would sound just like the sort of thing that Frank, the character DeVito plays on "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia," would do.
