SoCal weather to warm up through the middle of the week

Southern California is getting a taste of summer heat with highs reaching the low 90s today. We're still going to see cloudy skies in the morning followed by afternoon sunshine for the foreseeable future.

Taking a look at your forecast for the day: beaches will be the coolest areas, with highs from 70 to 77 degrees along the L.A. County coastline. Valley communities will be warmer with highs from 80 to 92 degrees.

Moving south to Orange County you can expect patchy fog in the morning. Daytime highs will be from 70 to 78 degrees along the coast and 77 to 85 degrees more inland.

For the Inland Empire, temperatures will range from 88 to 97 degrees. And for Coachella Valley, temperatures will mostly be in the low 100s, be possibly up to 108 degrees in some areas.
