SoCal heading into the warmest weather all week

We're in for another short heat wave today and Friday.

Morning low clouds and patchy fog will cover the coast this morning, but by the afternoon it will be sunny.

Expect temperatures from 70 to 75 degrees at L.A. County beaches and 82 to 87 degrees more inland. L.A. County valleys will see temperatures from 80 to 89 degrees..

Orange County will be cloudy this morning followed by a partly sunny afternoon. Temperatures will range from 69 to 75 degrees at the beaches and 74 to 79 degrees inland.

In the Inland Empire, temperatures will be slightly warmer, with highs of up to 90 degrees. Meanwhile, expect the heat in Coachella Valley where highs could hit 101 degrees.
