SoCal is baking under the sun for the next few days. Thursday and Friday are expected to be the hottest days of the heatwave, so buckle in.
L.A. County coastal areas will see overcast conditions today with highs mainly in the mid 70s along the beaches. Heading toward downtown L.A. ,it will be warmer with highs up to 91 degrees. Meanwhile, the valley communities will see temperatures in the upper 80s to mid 90s, and up to 100 degrees for the warmest areas.
In Orange County, the coastal areas will start off with morning clouds, then gradually clear. The beaches will warm up to 86 degrees, and temperatures will rise to 92 degrees more inland.
Highs in the Inland Empire will range in the mid 90s, with the warmest areas up to 103 degrees.
In Coachella Valley, temperatures are expected to reach up to 115 degrees.
