SoCal temperatures rise before hottest days of the week

    Good morning and happy almost Friday! We're looking at warmer weather today with temperatures in the high 80s for inland areas.

    Another cloudy morning followed by a mostly sunny afternoon.

    Temperatures at L.A. County beaches will range from 67 to 72 degrees, and up to 77 degrees for the Orange County coast. Downtown L.A. will see temperatures in the mid 70s.

    Support for LAist comes from

    L.A. County valleys and the Inland Empire will see hot temperatures with highs in the mid to upper 80s. The warmest areas will jump to 89 degrees.

    Meanwhile, in Coachella Valley, expect hotter conditions with highs from 91 to 96 degrees.

    Tonight's lows will drop the mid 50s and low 60s.
