Good morning and happy Friday! Get ready to cozy up on the couch this weekend — some light rain is coming back to Southern California.

Today's skies will be mostly overcast closer to the coast with sunshine peaking out over the valleys, the Inland Empire and Coachella Valley.

If you want warm weather, head to Coachella Valley, where temperatures will jump from 90 to 95 degrees.

If you like May Gray, stick to the coast. Temperatures there will be from 64 to 70 degrees for Orange County, and up to 73 degrees in L.A. County.

The valleys and Inland Empire will be much warmer today, with temperatures up to 80 degrees.

Looking to your weekend, forecasters say to expect rain from Saturday afternoon to Sunday, which is looking to be the wettest day. Chance of showers is between 15% to 20% close to the coast, and 40% to 50% more inland and near the mountains.
