An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.7 struck near Sherman Oaks on Tuesday.
No significant damage was expected.
An early warning wasn’t issued by the U.S. Geological Survey’s earthquake early warning system, likely due to it low intensity. A map of recent earthquakes in the area can be seen here.
