Quick Facts
- Today’s weather: Cool, dry

Good morning and happy Wednesday. The worst is over for our Santa Ana winds as they move out of the region.
We're looking at a cooling trend for the Southland as dry, cold air sticks around with light winds. These conditions, however, could still lead to fire weather.
Our skies will be a little cloudier, and there's a slight chance of rain tonight and into Thursday in Ventura County, according to the National Weather Service.
Expect highs in the upper 60s at the beaches and temperatures in the low to mid 70s for the inland coast. The daytime highs for the valleys and inland areas will range between 66 to 73 degrees. In the high desert, temperatures will drop to the mid to upper 60s. Meanwhile, the Coachella Valley will reach 71 degrees.
Tonight's lows will drop to the mid 40s.
The red flag warning for the Inland Empire and Orange County will have lifted overnight. For Ventura and the Malibu coast, that warning is set to expire by 2 p.m., and then 6 p.m. for L.A. County mountains and the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys.
