The break from the rain continues, so expect sunny skies and daytime highs just a few degrees warmer. But come nightfall, the rain will pick back up and linger through Saturday.

Temperatures have climbed just a couple of degrees across the Southland. Along the coast, temperatures will average a high of 71 and in downtown Los Angeles, expect a high of 74 degrees.
The valleys and inland areas will see the most warming with highs in the mid 70s, an average of 74, for Riverside, San Bernardino and inland Orange County.
The low desert average temperature is still at 77, and in the high desert expect a high of 67.
Tonight's lows will be in the upper end of the 50s for the valleys and inland areas including the low desert. In thr high desert and the Antelope Valley lows will be in the 40s.
Taking a look ahead: Rain showers will be widespread across Southern California for Saturday and there's a chance of isolated thunderstorms for Orange County, portions of the Inland Empire and L.A. County.
An inch of rainfall is expected for Saturday. Then, come Sunday, another Santa Ana wind event is forecasted. Like Guns N' Roses once said...nothin' lasts forever, even cold November Rain.
About those advisories
A wind advisory has been issued for the Interstate 5 corridor and northern Ventura County mountains from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Expect winds to reach between 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph.
