Your SoCal Weather Report For Friday, May 3: Windy And Cool Weekend For Deserts And Local Mountains

Happy Friday! It's that time of year again when we get May Gray and June Gloom weather conditions.

- Today’s weather: Morning overcast, sunny afternoon
- Beaches: 66-68
- Mountains: 60s
- Inland: 70s
- Warnings and advisories: Wind Advisory
Some parts of the Southland will wake up to patchy fog or low morning clouds — these conditions will gradually decrease leading to afternoon sun.
The beaches will be a few degrees cooler with highs in the mid to upper 60s, up to 68 degrees in Long Beach. In downtown Los Angeles, expect a high of 72 degrees.
The valleys and inland areas will see highs in the mid to upper 70s, with the highest of 79 degrees in San Bernardino.
Tonight's lows will be in the mid 50s.

Taking a look ahead at your weekend forecast — it will continue to be cool with highs in the the 70s for Saturday, in the upper 60s for Sunday. It will be windy starting Saturday at noon for the high and low deserts, including the Inland Empire mountains until Sunday night. Expect west winds up to 35 mph, with gusts up to 65 mph.
