Today's highs won't surpass 64 degrees across the Southland — the beaches will average out at 62 degrees, 64 for the inland coast, and back to 62 for inland and valley areas.

Tonight's lows will be in the low 50s, down to 46 degrees in San Fernando and Santa Clarita.

Taking a look ahead — there's a short warming trend starting tomorrow where the rest of the week will see highs in the low to mid 70s.

Ventura County beaches will see more high surf today through 4 p.m. Friday — large breaking waves of 5 to 8 feet and local sets up to 10 feet is possible during high tide.
