Your SoCal Weather Report For Thursday, Dec. 14: Warmer Temperatures Ahead

Good morning SoCal — warmer weather is in store for the next couple of days.

- Beaches: low 70s
- Mountains/deserts: 50s-60s/59-73
- Inland: mid 70s

Temperatures along L.A. County beaches will be in the low 70s, but over in Orange County, Huntington Beach will see a high of 69 degrees with some patchy fog.
It will be a few degrees warmer inland today with a high of 74 degrees in Inglewood, a high of 75 degrees in Garden Grove. Downtown L.A. will be slightly cooler reaching 71 degrees today.
In the valleys, average temperatures will range in the low 70s, the highest will be 74 degrees. But over in Santa Clarita Valley — it will be windy and cooler with a high of 67 degrees.
Inland areas such as Riverside and San Bernardino will see average temperatures reach up to 73 degrees, up to 75 degrees in Anaheim.
Nighttime lows will drop to the low 50s, down to 42 for the San Fernando Valley, and the 30s for the Antelope Valley.
Another Santa Ana wind event is in store for later this week along with warmer temperatures on Saturday. There's potential for a Pacific storm to reach the Southland come Sunday.

- 'Zoot Suit' in 70mm: This week, the museum begins the limited film series Works of Enduring Importance: 35 Years of the National Film Registry, showcasing the breadth, depth, and diversity of the Registry throughout its 35-year history. The series kicks off with a screening of Zoot Suit (1981) in 70mm, which was added to the National Film Registry in 2019. Directed by Luis Valdez (La Bamba), the film adapts his acclaimed stage play that focused on events that led to the Zoot Suit Riots of 1943.
