It's Hump Day!!! If you step outside this morning you may notice that the air is a bit chilly — that's because we're seeing a cool down for this week.

Patchy fog will cover most of the southland until 11 a.m.

It will be a few degrees cooler for the Southland. Highs in the valleys will be in the mid 80s to low 90s, but still up to 96 degrees in San Bernardino. We'll see highs in the lower 90s for the high desert, up to 110 degrees in Coachella valley.

Along the coast you can expect daytime highs in the 70s, mid 80s for inland coast, up to 83 degrees for Downey and 80 degrees in Anaheim.

Tonight's lows for most of the Southland will be in the 60s, and in the 70s to 80s for Coachella Valley.

Don't get your hopes up for an early fall — forecasters say we will see a warmer weekend. The good news is — L.A. County has extended its pool season to Halloween.
