The L.A. region is in for a pretty temperate weekend, with overcast skies and another slight chance of showers until Saturday. Come next week, however, it'll start to warm up again.

  • Beaches: low 70s
  • Mountains/deserts: 70s-80s/ 90s high desert, 103 low desert
  • Inland: 80s

Low clouds and fog will cover the coastal areas and valleys for Friday.

In downtown Los Angeles, temperatures will reach up into the mid-80s. In the valleys, highs will be in the mid to upper 80s. In the Antelope Valley, some areas will get up to 89 degrees.

The inland areas will stay in the mid to upper 80s. Meanwhile, low desert temperatures could reach 103 degrees.

We're still seeing a chance of thunderstorms and showers through Saturday. Remember, when it roars, go indoors.
