Temperatures today will be 4 to 8 degrees warmer than Tuesday, with highs reaching the low 90s in some valleys.

The warmest areas today will be the eastern San Fernando Valley, where temperatures will range from 88 to 92 degrees, and Coachella Valley, where highs between 88 to 93 degrees are expected.

Meanwhile, the rest of L.A. County valleys, the Inland Empire and Orange County inland areas will see daytime highs around 86 to 90 degrees. Only the Santa Clarita and Orange County inland areas will be cooler, with high temperatures topping out at 85 degrees.

We're going to see slight warming along the coast, with max temperatures reaching 79 degrees for the Orange County coast, and between 83 to 87 degrees for L.A. County beaches and inland coast.
