Some SoCal valleys under heat advisory as temperatures rise

We're looking at sunny skies today with warmer temperatures all around Southern California.
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys where temperatures will reach up to 100 degrees. High temperatures are expected to last until 8 p.m.
Elsewhere, expect patchy morning clouds and fog with highs of 73 to 80 degrees at L.A. County beaches and 85 to 90 degrees more inland. Orange County beaches will see temperatures ranging from 75 to 84 degrees and up to 90 degrees inland.
In the Inland Empire, temperatures will likely range from 91 to 99 degrees. And in the Coachella Valley, temperatures will reach up to 104 degrees.
