Dry and warm conditions for SoCal this weekend

Happy Friday! We're in for another round of patchy fog this morning, with some light drizzle followed by sunshine and warm weather.

  • Today’s weather: Overcast then sunny
  • Beaches: 63-68 degrees
  • Mountains: 77-84 degrees
  • Inland: 80-88 degrees
  • Warnings and advisories: None

In L.A. County, the highs at the beaches will be from 63 to 68 degrees. The valleys will be warmer, with highs from 75 to 85 degrees.

Moving south to Orange County, temperatures at the beaches will reach 75 degrees — and climb to around 80 degrees inland.

Meanwhile for the Inland Empire, temperatures will reach 88 degrees. Over in the Coachella Valley, expect temperatures to reach 101.

We're looking at higher temps and low humidity this weekend. The National Weather Service says there is a risk of grass fires for interior valleys, including the Antelope Valley.
