Another mild and cool day for Southern California.

Look for patchy drizzle and morning fog before skies gradually clear in most areas. Temperatures could be as much as 15 degrees below normal, with highs near 66, according to the National Weather service. Fog and clouds will return at night, with a low around 52 degrees.

The beaches should be mostly sunny in the afternoon with a high near 62. Winds could pick up in the evening, reaching gusts as high as 20 mph. The mountains will be a little cooler, with a highs in the mid-50s. Clouds will gather in the evening, with a low around 48.

Orange County and the Inland Empire will be mostly sunny, with a high near 67. Winds could pick up at night, with gusts reaching 25 mph.

The chance of light rain will increase, especially on Thursday.
