3.3 Magnitude Earthquake Rattles Orange County Residents

Many SoCal residents felt a bit of a rumble when an earthquake struck Orange County last night.

About the earthquake: The U.S.Geological Survey says the quake, measuring a magnitude 3.3, hit at 8:09 p.m. There were no immediate reports of major damage. The epicenter was about 1 mile east of Fullerton with a recorded depth of 6.5 miles.

About 3,000 residents from Whittier, Buena Park, Los Alamitos, Huntington Beach and Anaheim reported feeling the jolt.

For a brief period of time, Disneyland also shut down rides to perform safety inspections.
