Santa Ana Still Has A Curfew

L.A. County lifted its curfew two days ago, but in Orange County, Santa Ana officials are sticking to theirs.
The city announced on Twitter that the curfew will start at 10 tonight and end at 5 a.m. Sunday.
The order exempts those "seeking emergency care, fleeing danger and traveling to and from employment and religious services." It also exempts all law enforcement, fire and medical personnel.
Last week, the American Civil Liberties Union and Black Lives Matter L.A. filed a lawsuit against political and law enforcement leaders, alleging that the curfew orders violate the constitutional protections of free speech and freedom of movement, as well as journalists' ability to report on the protests.

In a statement, Melina Abdullah, a co-founder of Black Lives Matter L.A., said local political and law enforcement leaders "are attempting to suppress our ability to fully mobilize and focus full attention on the true issue of concern in the protests — police violence against Black people."
