Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks celebrates 55 today by offering its famous house combination for $2.15—the original 1956 price. The $2.15 price is available for both lunch and dinner, and comes with Soup or Tostada Chiquita, Spanish Rice, Refried Beans, and a choice of two items from a list of traditional Mexican dishes, including chile relleno, chicken taco, beef enchilada, vegetable tamale and more. Hours: 11 am-2 am.

Larry Edmunds Bookshop on Hollywood Boulevard hosts a reading for Vic Armstrong’s autobiography The True Adventures of The World’s Greatest Stuntman My Life as Indiana Jones, James Bond, Superman and other movie heroes.Tonight at 7:30 pm. Armstrong will show a highlight reel of his stunts.
