We believe when reliable local reporting is widely available, the entire community benefits. Thank you for investing in your neighborhood.

We sift through tons of events so that you don't have to. In addition to the launch of RADAR L.A., here are a few other options for what's going on in LA tonight:

The Annenberg Beach House welcomes Donna Sternberg & dancers for the program Dis-illussions at the Beach. Sternberg’s site-specific piece examines the concept of perception and memory. Six dancers are accompanied by musicians Ken Christianson and Peggy Skomal, and digital artist Michael Masucci premieres a short film prior to the dance performance. Admission is free but reservations are required.

It’s a panel discussion that explores the role artists play as “innovators of media technology and instigators in the public and media art realms.” With academicians Aniko Imre, Henry Jenkins, Reed Johnson, Fabian Wagmister, and moderated by Kenneth Rogers, Media and Cultural Studies, UC Riverside. At the Mark Taper Auditorium-Central Library. RSVP recommended.
