    Topline:

SAG-AFTRA leadership has released many details on the tentative agreement since the union struck a deal with Hollywood studios earlier this month, but the full text had not been publicly available until Friday.

The response to the contract: Some rank and file members of the actors' union have criticized the finer points of the agreement, saying that protections around artificial intelligence don't go far enough. SAG-AFTRA leadership has defended the agreement, with union president Fran Drescher saying that "you can’t please all the people all the time."

The backstory: SAG-AFTRA leadership has already released a summary of the changes under the new contract.

What's next: The deadline for SAG-AFTRA performers to vote on the new contract is on Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. The SAG-AFTRA board ratified the agreement by a vote of 86% to 14%.
