LAFC is heading back to the MLS Cup Final this Saturday. The defending champ will be playing against the Columbus Crew in Ohio.

Cheering them on in the stands will be San Fernando Valley resident Mynor Godoy, who co-founded an LAFC fan group that now has about 60 members.

It's called Lxs Tigres del NorthEnd, a reference to the Mexican American band and the loud LAFC fan section in their L.A. stadium.

"It means a lot for the community and culture that’s been established," said Godoy, adding that his group's focus is to keep the environment at games family friendly.

"We know in soccer a lot of times there could be a lot of negativity or it can be a place that’s not very inviting to families or to children," he said.

And this Saturday, he and about nine members, will be bringing that fan spirit to Ohio for the title game.

Godoy has taken his two young kids and wif e to several away games this season, but Saturday’s game in Ohio will be a quick dad-only trip.
