Awesome, Unpublished Rolling Stones Photos Discovered At Flea Market
You just never know what you'll find at your local flea market. Musician Lauren White stumbled across a gold mine when she went to one in Saugus. She told the website Cool Hunting that a man told her she looked like she liked rock 'n' roll and that he had something for her.
It turned out to be 23 candid, never-before-published photos of the Rolling Stones lounging (mostly poolside) at hotels around the United States. There are shots of bands members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Charlie Watts and Ian Stewart. They look so young, so fresh-faced—and not yet hardened by years of rock 'n' roll.
White worked with George Augusto to curate the exhibit "Found" at the downtown gallery Dilettante that features the all-new photos. The show opened up earlier this month, but it runs until October 26 before heading on to Miami and then New York.
