The Notorious Red Room in 'Twin Peaks' Deliciously Rendered in Red Vines
David Lynch's TV Show "Twin Peaks" has inspired countlessspoofs, Geocities pages lost to posterity and other works of art — but nothing quite as delicious as the red vines mosaic of the Red Room.
The piece is one of several pop art works rendered in red (and black) vines at at iam8bit in Echo Park. There's also a portrait of Harry Potter, Willy Wonka and Charlie Chaplin (who ate a shoe made out licorice on-screen in "The Gold Rush"). Mosaic artist Jason Mecier’s new exhibit "Licorice Flix, Edible Movie Mosaics" is sponsored by Red Vines.
There's still one more day left for you to check out the exhibit before it goes the way of Geocities.
