It's the last days of Ciudad, the Downtown Latin American restaurant owned by the popular chefs known as the "Too Hot Tamales," Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken. But the gals aren't closing up shop; instead they're turning their urban eatery into a second local full-service Border Grill.

Feniger says with the changeover they'll "get to mix the fun energy of our Santa Monica location with Ciudad's cosmopolitan vibe." Adds Milliken: "We're so excited to bring Border Grill to Downtown. Fans of our modern Mexican cuisine have been asking for this for years and we're thrilled to finally make it happen."

From Friday, September 10 through Saturday, October 2 Ciudad will celebrate its closing by offering every guest a Border Grill Downtown LA $10 Dining Card (while supplies last), and the chance to win a Border Grill Truck party or tickets to the Border Grill Downtown's grand opening party.
