From the lows of that 131-92 game at Staples Center against the Boston Celtics a year ago, the Lakers defeated the Orlando Magic 99-86. This is the franchise's 15th championship and head coach Phil Jackson's 10th to surpass Red Auerbach. Kobe Bryant won the NBA Finals MVP for the first time. Comment away.

but was there a riot? No? Then dammit, it didn't happen.

Call me when Lakers fans torch downtown.

:P

(NOTE: emoticon, though cheap and cliched, is effective in conveying my sarcastic reaction. I do not actually wish for our city to be torched.)

Ahhh... the night is still young. The idiots of LA are still out roaming the streets.

(not that I want downtown to burn either, just dont have much faith in the LA idiots.)

ok...so the city said they really cant justify spending $$$$$$$ for a victory parade. i agree... i think kobe and the team make enough to where it wouldn't hurt their pockets to pay for the parade....

FUCK YEAH GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!

FUCK YEAH GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!
