New mural of Marion Cotillard, Oscar winner, found in Los Angeles I Photo by Osmany Rodriguez for LAist>
That's Marion Cotillard, this year's best actress winner at the Academy Awards. Pictured is a mural depicting a moment from her very sweet Oscar speech. Sadly my name isn't Olivier, I am at the moment providing 0.00% of rock to Marion's world. She's referring to Olivier Dahan, her director in the Edith Piaf biopic "La Vie en Rose." A punk if you ask me.
The wall is located on La Brea, in between Pico and Olympic. Right where Mona Lisa used to moon the rush hour traffic. I'm going to guess the mural is by M-BW, although I could be wrong. Like I was that time I thought Marion Cotillard would want some poetry about narwhals on her doorstep.
La Vie en Rose is out on DVD, go watch her amazing performance as Edith Piaf. Pack some tissues.
And for those keeping score, this is the same spot the Mona, ahem, Moona Lisa showed off her ass at.

Did she forget to thank him in her speech or something?
this is amazing.
She thanked him in the speech. Click on the speech link.
There was never a speech, it's all a conspiracy of French Guild Actors.
I saw a couple of Latino dudes working on this.
