FELICITY JONES + EDDIE REDMAYNE REUNITE

When Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones last acted together they each got Oscar nominations and Redmayne won. That was for the Stephen Hawking story “The Theory of Everything.” Now they’ve reunited for “The Aeronauts” in which they play 19th century balloonists. “The Aeronauts” made its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival which is where John Horn caught up with them.  

FALL FILM FEST FRENZY

Between Telluride, Venice and now Toronto, film festivals are taking over the attention of the film industry these days. They're where some of the buzziest films are being screened including "Joker", "The Two Popes", "Waves" and "Marriage Story." But we'll have to wait for Greta Gerwig's "Little Women." Joining John Horn to discuss what's being screened at the fests is New York Times columnist Kyle Buchanan.

THE OREGON SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL GETS A NEW LEADER

Meet Nataki Garrett, raised in Oakland, educated at Cal Arts, she’s now the first person of color to be the Artistic Director of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. She talks with John Horn about her goal of programming plays that promote empathy and her hopes to expand the minds of her audiences.

The Mariachi band Flor de Toloache (toh-loh-AH-cheh) deviates from tradition in a couple of ways. They blend R&B with the usual sounds of the genre and...they’re all-female. Frame contributor Betto Arcos profiles the band.
